Comments: I went to vacation so that I don't have to wake up early in the morning but the staff there decided that customer's sleep is not important and start hammering the safe in the next room waking me up at 7am in the morning! I called the front desk, they said, that's the first complain they have heard but didn't offer any solution. I insisted someone come up here and stop whatever is happening, either a customer or a staff, stop them immediately. I get a call back in 5 minutes saying they sent someone to the room and again repeated to me that it's the first complain they have received but did not offer an apology. When it finally stopped, I can no longer go back to sleep. Now upset and tired, I decided to call the front desk as I am very dissatisfy about the service I've received. When I start to complain, the front desk manager keeps speaking over me and wants to hang up the phone. She did not know how to handle my call and ended up making the customer more upset. And this is the front desk manager. Did not offer me any compensation, no sympathy, no apology! I didn't go to vacation and pay a lot of money out of my pocket to be waken up at 7 in the morning and receive this kind of service! It's unheard of! My suggestion, DO NOT GO TO THE NEW OTANI HOTEL AND GARDEN EVEN IF THEIR PRICES ARE CHEAPER THAN COMPETITOR. Pay a little more and get some real service.
