Comments: I treated my 13 year old daughter with a shopping spree. She got a perfect 4.0 GPA for 3 semesters straight. I am so proud of her. I told her she can shop for anything (no limit). She wants to buy some clothes. She picked ROSS. We went to a ROSS in Corona (Branch 178) last night. We were at the store for 3 hours, going back and forth to the fitting room trying clothes. Our cart was so full that the fitting room attendant asked me if we were going for a vacation. Only 8 clothes at a time were allowed in the fitting room so while my daughter was fitting I was in and out bringing her clothes to fit and bringing out the clothes she already fitted and putting it in our cart. I overheard a lady talking to the attendant. Then when I came out, the attendant told me that that was the manager and that she was SO MAD that we got so many clothes. She was going to return the clothes in our cart(the clothes my daughter already fitted and liked and the ones we were going to buy) when the attendant told her that we were buying all those clothes in that cart. There was a long line in the counter and we were the last customer in the store. The our total bill was $ 494.30, I only had $ 200 cash so I told the cashier I was going to pay $200 cash and $294.30 check. After she scanned ALL THOSE CLOTHES, she made a mistake and posted $400 CASH. She had to call the manager to help her fix her mistake and the manager told her to scan it all over again, EVERYTHING. When she finally scanned them all again, she posted $200 cash and $294.30 check, the computer denied my check, The cashier told me the company that it linked to their computer to run their checks is now closed, that's why my check didn't go through. The manager also said she was going to put all those clothes on hold until I came back the next day. It was all inside a big plastic bag and I even put my name on it. I asked "what time do I have until - tomorrow?" She said I have until the WHOLE DAY. I asked what time they close tomorrow, she said 9:30pm.This afternoon, after I picked-up my daughter in school, we went to my bank to get some money. I just wanted to make sure I had enough cash to get the clothes. I didn't want to disappoint my daughter again. She was so excited rushing in to the store, and nearly cried when the cashier told us the manager had all her clothes returned to the racks earlier. She clearly told me I had the WHOLE DAY to come back for it, and it wasn't even closing. We came to the store before 6 pm. I found out from the person in charged(Omar) that the manager(Blanca Luz) had all the clothes return about 1pm. But why? She clearly doesn't have a word of honor. "When you tell a customer she has the whole day to pick it up, you keep your word". My daughter was so crushed, she cried when we got to the car, I really am crushed too. I feel like I don't want to shop at ROSS ever again and it's a shame because I love shopping at ROSS. It's not fair because it's not the store's fault, not the other employees fault. Just that one person who didn't keep her word, and made my daughter really sad, and me really angry. If you were a parent you know what I mean, and how I feel. She needs to apologize to my daughter and me.
